Biography

Personal Profile
Professor Xiong Bin is a chief physician, postgraduate supervisor, member of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Committee Member of the Youth Committee of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, Master of Breast Plastic Surgery in China, Master of Comprehensive Rhinoplasty in China, and Plastic Surgery Expert at Tianjin Yimeier. He is a personal disciple of Professor Song Ruyao, the founding figure of Chinese plastic surgery. He graduated from China Medical University and worked for 20 years at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College (Badachu Plastic Surgery Hospital), where he trained a large number of postgraduate students in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

Personal Philosophy
Professor Xiong Bin proposed the concept of “contour lines,” forming a unique aesthetic design philosophy in which “contours” and “facial features” mutually and dialectically influence each other. He independently developed the invisible dual-plane breast augmentation technique and created the classic case of the “flat-chested dancer.” He was appointed as a designated surgical and training expert for Mentor breast implants (USA). As a leading national expert in breast plastic surgery, he emphasizes individualized design of aesthetic plans and strives for perfection. His avant-garde aesthetic surgery concepts and rigorous professional standards make every breast augmentation he performs worthy of being called an “artistic masterpiece.”

Rhinoplasty Techniques
Professor Xiong Bin specializes in individualized comprehensive aesthetic design and overall aesthetic implementation, with particularly in-depth research in fine plastic surgery of the facial features. During his medical career, he has performed a large number of various nasal plastic surgeries, such as silicone or expanded PTFE augmentation rhinoplasty, nasal tip plasty, alar reduction, and short nose correction, accumulating rich clinical experience and mastering the essence of these procedures. He is a pioneer and comprehensive application expert of the concept and technique of “comprehensive rhinoplasty.” He independently developed Xiong's three-segment rhinoplasty technique, which combines Eastern aesthetic standards and aesthetic characteristics, sculpting perfection with exceptional craftsmanship.

Xiong's Three-Segment Rhinoplasty
Traditional low-end rhinoplasty simply involves implanting a one-piece nasal implant into the nose. Because it is overly simplistic, it never includes aesthetic measurement or analysis tailored to the patient, and all nasal implants are uniform factory-made models. How can such an approach create a nose with a refined, expressive appearance? Conventional silicone rhinoplasty uses a one-piece silicone implant. However, in terms of nasal anatomy, the upper segment is the nasal bone, which is hard; the middle segment is the nasal tip formed by alar cartilages, which is soft and elastic; and the lower segment is the nasal columella, also formed by cartilage and serving a supporting role. Three-segment rhinoplasty targets three different parts of the nose and uses different materials or methods to augment each separately.

Breast Augmentation Techniques
Professor Xiong Bin independently developed the “Invisible Dual-Plane Breast Augmentation” technique, which maximally ensures implant stability and safety while providing a realistic postoperative feel and natural mobility. Its surgical features can be summarized numerically as “3, 6, 9”: a unique 3 cm small periareolar incision is used for implant placement, and an internal scarless suturing technique is adopted. The procedure involves minimal bleeding, minimal trauma, small scars, and rapid recovery, avoiding the scar problems associated with axillary incisions, inframammary fold incisions, and traditional periareolar incisions; one week after surgery, incision marks are almost invisible. The time from opening the incision to placing the implant on one side is only 6 minutes, reducing bleeding and accidental injury with ease. The 5-line, 4-point breast beauty standard successfully addresses various breast problems, including ptosis, lateral displacement, and laxity, giving the breasts a beautifully uplifted and natural appearance. In addition, he has unique insights into endoscopic breast augmentation, ptotic breast suspension, and reduction mammoplasty.
